To celebrate this day, we're releasing Hatenkou Yuugi V1C7~ I realised, just now, while uploading it, that i named it as V2C7 >< I shall change it soon, but I can't do that now.

That\'s right! Our sister site, containing myself and some of our other staff members as well, has just released One Piece movie 9! Of course, this new sister site, http://www.nakama-fansubs.com/, is dedicated solely to One Piece! The releases will have attack effects whenever possible of course, our usual HQ encodes, and we hope to keep up to speed with the latest of the episodes.

I would also like to announce the completion of our new logo! Sweet, huh?

Welcome~!

I don't have as much to say as Queen does, but a big update has occurred in the forums, and you can see it for yourself!

The radio system we originally said to bring on was going to be $40. So I figured I'd just try a different way. The idea came to me when me and ersincyber were chatting on MSN, where I remembered I could just copy the radio system, and make it show up in that little space on the forums. So now, you see it everywhere ^^

Also, we're looking at releasing Karin 36 this week sometime, so be on the look-out for those as well. As the cleaning looks amazing as always~! From GoldenUmi, and our newest staffer, Merlin! Welcome aboard, our fellow nakama~

Hopefully this Tuesday we'll get more listeners. Last week we broke the record with 10! Thanks everyone~! ^^

I know most of you aren't too keen on having to post a certain amount of times before downloading. But, we would like people to actually post on our forum to show appreciation. So, I decided to reduce the requirement to 5 posts instead of 10. We hope this is a good compromise suitable for both staff and members. Thank you for understanding! ^^

Oh! I almost forgot the infamous staff-wanted notice! XD

I also wanted to point out that we are willing to train people in these fields if you are interested in helping but don't know how to do it. Note, however, that jobs such as timing and translating can be very time consuming, and you should have at least some time dedicated to it. In addition, timing and basic typesetting are rather simple and easy to learn, but the tasks of advanced typesetting, karaoke, and encoding require a great deal of background knowledge and practice. That being said, I still encourage those willing to help to try, and it is a great skill to have. I hope we can see some new faces rather quickly.

I would like to add that for scanlation, we're looking for all posts, especially editors. I don't require editors to have photoshop, but it would be an added bonus, since guides like Storm in Heaven's guide. QC-er's don't need to be experienced editors. What is an experienced editor? You wouldn't ask me what QC is if you were. lol. But anyway.

I would also like to add that translators have to be dedicated, since i am a translator as wel I believe that dedication is ery important.l and yeah...

I put up a new theme for the mainsite, because the other was having style problems. Example, the banner would stay put and the rest of the site would move when you minimized/maximized the webpage. Plus, this layout has a random banner feature! If you want to make a banner to showcase, PM (Private Message) me in the forums your banner (must be 500x90), and we'll see if you can make the banner rotation~! ^^

The 2 week extension to get back your 10 posts has come to an end. Thus, don't bother PMing me anymore because I won't respond. You will have to get the posts again no.w However, after some discussion over it, while some staff don't feel it's necessary, and some do, we agreed with a compromise to lower the needed amount of posts to 5 instead of 10 effective immediately.

We have a few potential new staff, so hopefully we'll get going soon on more translations and such. Thanks to Janime, we just have episode 173 and 174 of GX left before the HQ missing raws are gone, thus I expect we should finish the end of GX within a few weeks, if not sooner, especially once 173 and 174 are done.

As for updates, though it may not seem like it, there are always things happening behind the scenes you are not aware of. For starters, I have already prepared DM 186 (thanks to Yami as well) and 5Ds 13 for encoding, and they should be done shortly. We also are closing in on episode 9 and 10 of Soul Eater, and hope to catch up soon (though we're still awaiting translations). Also, Sonic X 54 is ready for typesetting, and should be done within this week sometime. Rosario + Vampire, as slow as we are with it, we are still working on it. 7 is having some issues worked out, and 8 is about ready to go into typesetting. As for GX, we have the HQ raw for 172, and I will work on retiming it to the raw.

I also wanted to point out that we working on some new projects that we plan to announce shortly. We will keep you updated and tell you what they are.

OK, since nobody did so, I decided to update the releases~ *claps*

GX 43,45, 48 and 171 are now up in the forum. Sonic X 53 sub is also up already, courtesy of sonic.

I would also like to thank Jo for making the site ^^ It looks soo good~ And next time, it will probably be Queen or GU giving the updates. I shall reserve the rights to announce scanlation updates though~
